Winter is dragging on and on and on! I know the kids are about as anxious for winter to finally end as much as I am. So hence forth we go through hopefully our last month of this powdery wintery white fluff and arise in to the warmth of spring come April. At least we've been praying on it.
Dawning on the warmth, (and yes the mud) I was thinking of something fun for the kids to do regarding something that would brighten their Saturday. A tea party. A tea party straight out of Alice in Wonderland! I want colors. LOTS of colors! And treats. MMM the treats we will have that day! And of course LOTS OF TEA!!! :) What more could we ask for!
But with any downfall of planning anything with the kids is that I need to find these items. And that's the hard part. Like dress up clothes. My kids need dress up clothes, and tea cups and tea pitchers. Well anything vibrant in color really. We need something with lots of bright pretty colors! If you by chance have anything and you are willing to donate please let me know! I will send you my address to where to send the items and after the tea party is a success I will be more than happy to send you pictures of the event as it arose throughout the course of the afternoon.
We will be serving finger sandwiches and tarts and if that's not at all, we will even be having a chocolate fountain!!! :D How amazing is that! They are looking to make and serve the following:
*Cucumber sandwiches
*Sweet and nutty cream cheese spread on bagels (Sliced small of course)
*raspberry danishes
*Chocolate fountain complete with:
- sour dough pretzel pieces
- marshmallows
- strawberries
- graham crackers
How sinfully sweet it'll be! I can't wait for it all to take place! :) So please if you can donate! Please do. Thanks again!
